Kitchen Remodeling vs. Kitchen Refacing: What’s the Difference?

Reface or Replace?
Kitchen remodeling generally refers to a large scale project in which existing cabinetry and countertops are torn out and replaced with all new cabinetry and countertops. The configuration of the kitchen may also be changed. Kitchen remodeling can be an expensive proposition.
Kitchen refacing is an economical alternative that has a smaller ecological footprint. Cabinet doors and drawer fronts are removed. All visible cabinet surfaces are then refaced with our exclusive double lamination system in the color of your choice. The beautiful new matching kitchen cabinet doors with the brand new hinges and hardware that you select are installed. If desired, we can replace your kitchen countertops, backsplashes and sinks.
Because the cabinets stay in place, the amount of debris going to the landfill is reduced by as much as 75 percent, and fewer trees are cut down.
Kitchen Magic can do both full remodeling jobs, full refacing jobs, or a combination of both. We can replace damaged cabinetry with new kitchen cabinets that match your freshly refaced ones.
